We just learned that on Sunday, February 11, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Reba McEntire, Post Malone and Andra Day are set to perform ahead of the Super Bowl 2024 game!

Country Music Hall of Fame member, Reba McEntire, will sing the national anthem. She has been singing the anthem since she started in 1974, at Rodeo National Finals in Oklahoma City and now at the Super Bowl 58 for the first time.  Reba’s talents cross over from music, theater & television. She has performed on stage as Annie Oakley, headlined her own television show, “Reba”  from 2001 – 2007, and is currently a judge on “The Voice” since 2011. Reba got the news & was shocked. Her boyfriend, Rex Linn, is a huge football fan said “Yes she would do it, absolutely!” (CBS Mornings)

Post Malone, a multi-time Grammy-nominated rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. Malone has gained distinction and acclaim for his blending of various genres. Post Malone has released multiple hit songs, especially known for “Congratulations,” “Rockstar and “Sunflower,” which have all topped the charts. He has also collaborated with many popular artists, such as Swae Lee, Ty Dolla $ign and 21 Savage. An interesting fact about Post Malone is that his father became a manager of concessions at NFL’s Dallas Cowboys in 2004 moving his family from Syracuse, New York to Dallas Texas. Post will be singing  “America the Beautiful” at Super Bowl LVIII.

Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter, Andra Day was selected to perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The other day, she went to Instagram stating, “Peace & Blessings!!! Performing the Anthem at the Super Bowl yall! Grateful! Thank you, God.” Known for her 2016 Grammy-nominated, “Rise Up,” which has over 1 billion streams, Day has also dabbled in acting with her first feature-acting debut “The United States vs. Billie Holiday” which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Oscars, two Golden Globes for Actress in a Drama Motion Picture and Original Song in a Motion Picture.

As everyone knows, the super stars in front of the camera are supported well from behind. Adam Blackstone, an Emmy Award-winning musical director and producer, will produce the national anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The pregame and halftime show will also feature American Sign Language (ASL) performances. Actor Daniel Durant will be signing the national anthem, while Anjel Piñero, an actress, dancer and model, will perform “America the Beautiful” in ASL. Actor and choreographer Shaheem Sanchez will sign “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and the halftime show featuring Usher, to round out the ASL experience for all!

We at Super Sunday HQ are looking forward to these performances, surprises & the inclusion of those in the ASL Community!
