What’s the Super Bowl without Bobby B reporting from Super Bowl Parties? Bobby B will return to Arizona this year, but for now, he’s having a blast doing TV interviews for us on Bay Area HQ, broadcasting out of Northern California year-round, home of Super Bowl 50. Check out this funny interview with Jay Baruchel and Eric Andre. Together, these two star in FXX’s newest comedy series, Man Seeking Woman. A sweet and surreal look at the life-and-death stakes of dating, the series follows naïve twenty-something “Josh Greenberg” (Baruchel) on his unrelenting quest for love. Josh soldiers through one-night stands, painful break-ups, a blind date with a troll, time travel, sex aliens, many deaths and a Japanese penis monster named Tanaka on his fantastical journey to find love. Andre co-stars as “Mike,” his best friend. Man Seeking Woman is based on Simon Rich’s book of short stories, The Last Girlfriend on Earth.
Jay Baruchel (This Is the End, Robocop) can be heard reprising the voice of “Hiccup” How to Train Your Dragon 2; and also co-stars in the upcoming Untitled Cameron Crowe Project opposite Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams and Bill Murray. He has recently signed on to star in and executive produce the film adaptation of Stephen King’s short story The Ten O’Clock People.
Eric Andre (The Internship, The Invention of Lying) currently stars on CBS’ 2 Broke Girls and The Eric Andre Show on Adult Swim. He performs live almost every night of the week and just completed a sold out comedy tour. Eric brings a combination of manic energy, life experience and psychedelic rambling to the stage.
