San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl Parties
What started as a guy trip from San Francisco to Miami to watch the Bears play the Colts in Super Bowl 41 is now the World’s #1 Resource for Super Bowl events.
In 2006, when Ken Spalasso, a California-based trial attorney, attempted planning the week’s activities before the game, he found it extremely difficult to keep track of all the amazing events happening in the host city. Once he decided on what gatherings to attend, he wanted to help people avoid the same time-consuming exercise he had just endured.

So he picked up a book, learned html, and published a website with a visual calendar of all the Super Bowl parties. He even took it one step further. He realized what a big investment the trip was for many fans, and wanted them to get an inside look before they spent thousands on tickets to these bashes. He enlisted the help of some friends to get red carpet interviews and event footage at these over-the-top parties.
After getting many emails asking if Super Sunday HQ would be returning for another year, Ken did not disappoint, and reserved the week of the big game each year to travel to the host city and cover all the action and excitement of Super Bowl week with his hand-picked team.

While many resources came and went, Super Sunday HQ pushed on, not wanting to let its loyal audience down. With the site’s growth in popularity over the years, so came sponsors, realizing the impressive reach and niche demographic who consistently visited Super Sunday HQ for exclusive and breaking Super Bowl event news. Highlights over the years have included having two reigning Miss USA’s as guest correspondents, getting interviewed by media from around the country, and, of course, the parties! From the Leather & Laces party to EA Sports’ Madden Bowl to DirecTV’s Beach Bowl, Super Sunday HQ is always honored to be invited back each year to continue its streak of covering the most star-studded events of the year.

With support from its loyal audience, partners & sponsors, Super Sunday HQ is now a TV special, and more importantly, a mobile app on both Apple and Google platforms. Ken’s goal of making it as easy as possible for true Super Bowl fans to connect with each other and plan and share their Super Bowl week has been reached. In 2014, Super Sunday HQ launched a spinoff, Bay Area HQ. Bay Area HQ features fun interviews with athletes and celebrities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In just one year, Bay Area HQ has over 4 million channel views on Youtube, has been featured on the E! Network on Total Divas, and has had content licensed to the NFL Network, ESPN, CBS, and nearly every major media outlet. Bay Area HQ airs to 3 million households and has its own channel on over 10 million ROKU digital set-top boxes around the world. It is also an approved Google News content provider.

Ultimately, our goal is to get bigger and better, so that we can use our platform to create campaigns and events that will benefit the charities that help children and the troops. On behalf of everyone at Super Sunday HQ, we appreciate your continued support!
