Each year, the dinner presents The Pat Summerall Award to a person who has made a significant contribution in the sports field. The award was created in honor of the late beloved legendary broadcaster for his contributions to the NFL for more than 50 years. Past honorees include James Brown, Greg Gumbel, Jim Nantz, Chris Berman, Cris Collinsworth, The NFL ON FOX, Al Michaels, Archie Manning, Michael Strahan and Joe Buck.Legends for Charity is pleased to honor John Madden, Pat Summerall’s longtime broadcast partner and beloved friend, as he becomes the 11th recipient of this coveted award.  This evening, featuring cocktails, a formal dinner and live and silent auctions, will provide guests a once in a lifetime experience. While we celebrate the life and career of the most honored NFL broadcaster of all time with video tributes and guest speakers, attendees will also be supporting the miracles performed every day at St. Jude.
