28 Oct Super Bowl 50 News: Business Connect Workshops for Super Bowl 50

Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara may be more than a year away, but the NFL and San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee is already opening up some excellent networking and growth opportunities for local businesses in the region. Their Business Connect program is set to launch with two kickoff workshops next month. This special initiative links diverse Bay Area businesses with contracting opportunities related to Super Bowl 50. To qualify for the program, businesses must be located in the nine-county Bay Area and certified as Minority-owned (MBE), Women-owned (WBE), or Disabled veteran-owned (DVBE).

Applications will be accepted starting November 17th through April 30, 2015. Interested and qualified businesses are highly encouraged to attend one of the two free workshops in November to learn more about Business Connect, the Super Bowl 50 procurement process, and for presentations by the NFL and its key contractors, the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee, and corporate sponsors. The first workshop will take place on Monday, November 17th at Levi’s Stadium from 1:30 to 3:30PM and the second workshop will be held on Wednesday, November 19th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from 7:30 to 9:30AM.

To register for a workshop and to find out more about Business Connect, visit the Business Connect page on the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee website.
